OVERVIEW The University of Surrey is seeking an International Officer to support recruitment activity across the Middle East and africa. Based within the International Student Recruitment team, this role focuses on increasing applications and enrolments from international students in the region. It combines strategic planning, relationship management, and active participation in recruitment activities both overseas and on campus. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Develop and implement recruitment strategies to increase applications and enrolments from international students – Manage and support overseas agents across the Middle East and africa – Build and maintain relationships with international schools and other stakeholders – Attend recruitment events and represent the University of Surrey internationally – Support on-campus recruitment activities and events REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International recruitment plays a critical role in supporting a globally diverse academic community. This position helps ensure the University of Surrey remains competitive and visible in key international markets. By strengthening engagement with agents, schools, and prospective students, the role directly contributes to sustainable international growth.
