OVERVIEW The Apprenticeships and Partnerships Senior Officer role at the University of Surrey sits within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences and supports the delivery of apprenticeship programmes and external partnerships. This position has a particular focus on the launch and ongoing administration of a new Nursing Apprenticeship programme, alongside wider Transnational Education activity. The role combines operational administration, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory support in a hybrid working environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide high-quality administrative support for apprenticeship programmes and external partnerships – Support the launch and delivery of a new Nursing Apprenticeship programme – Act as the primary administrative lead for apprenticeship-related matters – Coordinate internal and external stakeholders involved in apprenticeship and partnership activity – Manage learner records associated with apprenticeship programmes – Support regulatory compliance related to apprenticeship provision – Contribute to partnership development activities – Support accreditation-related activities – Assist with the planning and delivery of faculty events – Provide administrative support for Transnational Education activity REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Apprenticeship and partnership activity plays an increasingly important role in widening access to higher education and aligning academic provision with workforce needs. This role helps ensure that complex programmes such as Nursing Degree Apprenticeships are delivered smoothly, compliantly, and in collaboration with external partners.
