OVERVIEW The Pro Vice-Chancellor Global Engagement is a senior executive leadership role at Bangor University, responsible for setting and advancing the institution’s international direction. As a member of the University Executive, the role provides strategic leadership across global engagement activities and represents the University on the international stage. The position plays a central role in shaping Bangor University’s long-term global impact through partnerships, recruitment, and innovative delivery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead the development and delivery of the University’s global engagement strategy – Provide strategic oversight of transnational education partnerships – Lead and support international student recruitment activities – Drive the development of innovative global delivery models – Represent Bangor University internationally – Contribute as a member of the University Executive – Shape the University’s long-term global impact REQUIREMENTS – Outstanding strategic leader WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Global engagement is central to the sustainability, reputation, and academic reach of modern universities.
