OVERVIEW The Outgoing Student Coordinator of the International Office at Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (BiUH) is a managerial-level role focused on supporting and expanding international student mobility. The position plays a central role in ensuring that students are well prepared for study abroad and that exchange processes with partner institutions run smoothly. Working within an internationalized institutional environment in China, the role combines student advising, academic coordination, and administrative management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Advise students on study abroad opportunities and outgoing mobility pathways – Manage applications and nominations for exchange and study abroad programs – Coordinate with partner universities on learning agreements and credit transfer – Support double-degree programs, particularly those involving German partner institutions – Assist students with visa procedures and travel-related processes – Deliver pre-departure preparation courses for outgoing students – Handle administrative duties related to outgoing student mobility within the International Office REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Outgoing student mobility is a core component of internationalized higher education, and this role directly enables students to gain academic, cultural, and professional experience abroad.
