OVERVIEW The Director of Newcastle Global is a senior leadership role at Newcastle University, a research-intensive institution with a strong civic mission and expanding international presence. The position leads Newcastle Global, formerly the International Office, and is responsible for shaping and delivering the University’s international strategy. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Global Recruitment and Admissions, and working closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global), this role sits at the centre of the University’s global ambitions and long-term growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Shape the University’s international strategy, partnerships, and global growth. – Lead Newcastle Global (formerly the International Office). – Oversee international student recruitment activities. – Provide strategic leadership for transnational education initiatives. – Lead the development and management of global partnerships. – Oversee international student and staff mobility. – Work closely with the Director of Marketing, Global Recruitment and Admissions. – Collaborate with the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global). – Strengthen international networks and relationships. – Drive sustainable growth across global markets.
