OVERVIEW Lancaster University is seeking a Director for Global Engagement to support the development of international partnerships, campuses and external engagement activity across a changing global environment. The role focuses on collaboration across the university to strengthen global partnerships, support sustainable international growth and contribute to a connected university community. The position is suited to an experienced higher education professional with knowledge of international and ideally Transnational Education environments. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued alignment and development of Lancaster’s global activity and engagement across multiple regions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Strengthen Lancaster University’s international partnerships and campuses – Support external engagement activity across a dynamic global environment – Work closely with colleagues across the university to support partnership development – Foster collaboration across international and global initiatives – Contribute to the continued growth and alignment of Lancaster’s international activity – Support the development of a connected global community – Encourage sustainable global partnerships and international relationship development – Contribute to a cohesive approach across Lancaster’s global operations – Support international development activity in emerging regions including India REQUIREMENTS – Experience as an international higher education professional – Passion for building meaningful global partnerships – Strong understanding of higher education environments – Ideally, understanding of Transnational Education environments – Experience supporting international collaboration and partnership development – Ability to contribute to global engagement activity and international relationship management – Experience working within a collaborative university environment WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role supports the continued international development of Lancaster University through global engagement, partnership growth and collaborative activity.
