OVERVIEW The International Partnerships Officer role at the University of Surrey focuses on supporting the successful delivery of strategic global partnerships and international networks across education and research. The position provides high-level operational support and expert advice to enable effective international engagement. It sits at the centre of collaboration between academic leaders, professional services teams, and external global partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide high-level support and expert advice for the delivery of strategic global partnerships and university networks in education and research – Analyse partnership opportunities to support institutional international priorities – Coordinate international visits and delegations involving senior stakeholders and partner institutions – Support the development and management of international agreements – Monitor partnership outputs and assess impact across education and research activities – Showcase international activities and partnership achievements – Work closely with Associate Deans (International), academic colleagues, international recruitment teams, admissions, and quality assurance teams – Act as a key point of contact for international partner institutions, funding bodies, and policy organisations REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International partnerships play a critical role in advancing a university’s global reputation, research collaboration, and educational reach.
