OVERVIEW The Lead Partnership Officer – Post 16 role at the University of East London focuses on developing and managing strategic partnerships with schools, colleges, and educational organisations. The position supports student recruitment, access and participation, and wider institutional growth objectives. The successful candidate will deliver the university’s Further Education strategy through partnership development, progression pathways, and recruitment-focused engagement activity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Develop, manage, and grow strategic partnerships with schools, colleges, and educational organisations – Support student recruitment, access and participation, and institutional growth objectives – Deliver the university’s Further Education strategy – Develop sustainable recruitment pipelines – Strengthen progression pathways between schools, colleges, and the university – Increase applications, offers, and enrolments from priority schools and colleges – Work collaboratively across recruitment, marketing, admissions, academic schools, student ambassadors, and outreach teams – Deliver recruitment-focused engagement activities for prospective student audiences REQUIREMENTS – Experience developing partnerships with schools, colleges, or educational organisations – Ability to deliver recruitment-focused engagement activity – Experience supporting student recruitment and access initiatives – Ability to work collaboratively across multiple university teams including academic schools, admissions, marketing, and outreach – Understanding of progression pathways and recruitment pipelines WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role contributes directly to widening access to higher education and supporting institutional growth through effective recruitment partnerships.
