OVERVIEW The University of Southampton is seeking a VISA Co-ordinator to support its VISAS team within a responsive Student Advice and CAS creation environment. This role involves working with internal and external customers, including applicants, who need to request a CAS from the university. The position would suit a confident and self-motivated professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage changing priorities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support the university as part of the VISAS team – Act as part of the Student Advice and CAS creation team – Serve as the first line of contact for internal and external customers requesting a CAS from the university – Build and maintain relationships with a variety of people across the university – Communicate effectively with applicants and university stakeholders – Manage changing priorities during periods of pressured workload REQUIREMENTS – Confident and self-motivated approach – Exceptional written and verbal communication skills – Strong attention to detail – Proactive working style – Flexible approach to changing priorities – Ability to work effectively during periods of pressured workload – Ability to build and maintain professional relationships WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role supports essential visa and CAS processes that help applicants progress through important stages of their university journey.
