OVERVIEW The International Student Pathway Coach at Joliet Junior College plays a focused role in supporting prospective international students through early stages of the admission process. This position centers on advising, outreach, and guidance with a clear emphasis on CMAS pathways and F-1/M-1 student populations. The role is essential to ensuring that students receive accurate information and supportive advising as they consider academic options. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide pre-admission advising, outreach, and support to all prospective CMAS students with a particular emphasis on F-1/M-1 international students REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role matters because early advising and admission guidance strongly influence student access, preparedness, and confidence. By supporting international students before enrollment, the Pathway Coach helps students navigate complex processes and make informed decisions that affect long-term academic success.
