Newcastle University is seeking an exceptional and forward-thinking leader to take on the role of Director of Newcastle Global . Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Global Recruitment and Admissions, and working closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global), the role leads Newcastle Global (formerly the International Office), a team of around 60 colleagues based in the UK and internationally. The Director of Newcastle Global is responsible for shaping and delivering the University’s global strategy across international recruitment, transnational education, global partnerships and student and staff mobility. The role involves strengthening global reputation, expanding international networks, managing high-value partnerships, overseeing overseas campuses and mobility programmes, and providing strategic insight on global markets and geopolitics. This is a senior leadership role requiring extensive experience in international higher education or a related global, partnership-driven environment, with regular international travel.
