OVERVIEW Royal Holloway University of London is recruiting an International Adviser on a full-time fixed-term basis for 12 months. Based within the Directorate of Student Life in Egham, Surrey, this role focuses on supporting international students throughout their student journey by providing specialist immigration and international student advice. The position also contributes to wellbeing initiatives and the wider student experience across the University. The successful adviser will work closely with colleagues across the institution to support international students and help deliver accurate guidance in line with OISC/IAA requirements. This role combines student support, compliance responsibilities, and collaborative work designed to enhance the full international student experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide specialist immigration and international student advice to students – Support and empower international students throughout their student journey – Deliver accurate and timely immigration advice in accordance with OISC/IAA requirements – Support compliance activities related to immigration and student matters – Deliver guidance sessions and presentations to students – Work collaboratively with colleagues across the University – Contribute to the wellbeing and experience offering for students – Help enhance the experience of international students at the University REQUIREMENTS – Ability to provide accurate and timely immigration advice in accordance with OISC/IAA requirements – Ability to support compliance activities – Ability to deliver guidance and presentations to students – Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the University – Experience supporting international students and student wellbeing initiatives WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International students often require specialist support while adapting to academic life, immigration requirements, and a new environment.
