OVERVIEW York St John University is seeking an International Development Manager to join the YSJ Global Team in York, England. This full-time, fixed-term position supports the University’s international student recruitment strategy and contributes to global engagement activities across higher education. The role focuses on international recruitment channels, market development, and partner relationship management while supporting the student journey from enquiry through to enrolment. The Global Office leads the University’s international recruitment and global engagement activity, making this role important to the continued development of the institution’s international presence and student recruitment goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support the development and delivery of the University’s international student recruitment strategy – Manage international recruitment channels – Oversee agent account management activities – Build and maintain partner relationships – Contribute to market development initiatives – Support student recruitment from enquiry through to enrolment – Participate in international travel as part of recruitment and development activities – Contribute to the work of the YSJ Global Team and the Global Office REQUIREMENTS – Experience in international student recruitment within higher education – Ability to support international recruitment strategy delivery – Experience managing recruitment channels and partner relationships – Willingness to undertake international travel WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International recruitment and global engagement are central to the growth and development of universities operating in a competitive higher education environment.
