OVERVIEW The Student Recruitment Officer (Science) is a full-time, fixed-term role within Student and Scholarly Services at the University of Melbourne, focused on building strong domestic and international student pipelines for the Faculty of Science. Based in Melbourne, this position combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery of recruitment activities across multiple markets. The role plays a key part in converting prospective students into enrolled students through targeted, high-quality engagement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead student recruitment activities for the Faculty of Science. – Plan and deliver targeted recruitment campaigns to prospective students. – Organise and deliver recruitment events to support enrolment outcomes. – Provide personalised engagement to convert prospective students into enrolments. – Collaborate with colleagues across the University to support recruitment objectives. – Work with education agents to support domestic and international student recruitment. – Engage with academics to promote science programs and opportunities. – Represent the University of Melbourne at onshore recruitment events. – Represent the University of Melbourne at offshore recruitment events. – Support the growth of diverse, high-quality domestic and international student cohorts.
