OVERVIEW This Associate Director – International & Admissions role offers a senior leadership opportunity within the University of Chichester’s Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions & Communications team. The position plays a central role in delivering sustainable international growth and an outstanding, insight-led applicant experience aligned with the University’s 2032 Strategy. It combines strategic international student recruitment leadership with operational oversight of a modern, applicant-centred admissions service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Define and lead market-led international recruitment strategies across key global regions – Drive performance against targets for international student numbers, income, diversity and return on investment – Deliver sustainable international growth aligned to institutional strategy – Lead and oversee an applicant-centred admissions service – Ensure admissions processes are efficient, compliant and scalable – Enhance the applicant journey from enquiry through to enrolment – Work collaboratively with Marketing, Digital, Faculties, International Partnerships and UKVI compliance functions – Lead a coordinated, data-informed approach to international recruitment REQUIREMENTS – Senior-level experience in student recruitment and admissions within higher education – Demonstrated leadership capability appropriate to an associate director role – Background as an international and admissions specialist – Ability to operate as an ambitious and strategic leader WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International recruitment and admissions are critical to institutional sustainability, global engagement and diversity within higher education.
