OVERVIEW The Director of Education Abroad and National Student Exchange leads the University of Central Arkansas’s efforts to provide high-impact mobility opportunities for students through global and domestic study programs. Based in Conway, Arkansas, this role heads the Office of Education Abroad and National Student Exchange within the Center for Global Learning and Engagement. The position supports student participation in a range of education abroad and study away options and plays a central role in advancing the university’s mission of preparing students for engagement in local, national, and global communities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead the Office of Education Abroad and National Student Exchange within the Center for Global Learning and Engagement. – Provide leadership for the campus unit responsible for education abroad and National Student Exchange programs. – Oversee programs that include short-term faculty-led programs, semester exchanges, individual study abroad, and National Student Exchange study away opportunities within the United States. – Work collaboratively with offices across campus to support education abroad and study away initiatives. – Ensure that students and faculty have successful academic experiences while participating in programs abroad or away. – Support essential high-impact mobility programs that contribute to global learning and engagement at the university.
