OVERVIEW The Assistant Director, International Office at Hong Kong Baptist University is a senior leadership role dedicated to advancing global education and strengthening the institution’s international engagement. Reporting directly to the Director, this position plays a strategic role in shaping internationalisation efforts and overseeing high-impact global initiatives. The appointment is offered on a fixed-term contract of three years and is based in Hong Kong. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide strategic leadership in global partnerships – Contribute to and support the university’s internationalisation strategy – Oversee global education initiatives – Develop international markets – Strengthen relationships with global stakeholders – Promote diversity and inclusion through international engagement – Represent the university in international contexts – Lead and manage professional staff within the International Office REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS International engagement is central to a university’s global reputation, academic collaboration, and student experience.
