OVERVIEW The Scholarships Coordinator role at Trinity College Cambridge is a newly established position focused on leading the administration, development, and monitoring of College-funded studentships and bursaries. Working within the Tutorial team, the postholder will play a central role in supporting postgraduate funding awards and contributing to the growth of an international undergraduate scholarship scheme. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Cambridge, England. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead all matters related to the awarding and monitoring of Trinity-funded postgraduate studentships and bursaries – Support the development and growth of a prestigious international undergraduate scholarship scheme – Serve as community manager for recipients of scholarships from the Global Talent Fund – Manage administrative processes related to the selection of candidates for College studentships and bursaries – Provide advice to prospective and current students regarding funding opportunities – Maintain funding webpages and other online systems – Prepare annual reports incorporating quantitative and qualitative data analysis – Collaborate with colleagues within the College, the wider University, and external funding partners – Administer awards and manage associated financial reporting – Manage and analyse data across a range of databases REQUIREMENTS – Strong interpersonal and communication skills – Excellent organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail – Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders – Enthusiasm for engaging with prospective and current students – Willingness to take on new challenges and develop systems and solutions in a developing role – Experience working with committees and providing high-level administrative support – Experience with funding administration and/or managing budgets – Ability to manage databases and analyse data – High level of IT proficiency WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Scholarships and bursaries are essential to widening access and supporting academic excellence in an international university environment.
