OVERVIEW The International Student Recruitment Manager, China role at British University Vietnam (BUV) is a senior market-facing position focused on building and executing recruitment strategy for the Chinese market. Based remotely in China with regular travel, the role is responsible for driving enrolments to BUV’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Vietnam. This position combines strategic planning, partnership management, and direct market representation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead and implement international student recruitment strategy for the China market – Manage, develop, and maintain relationships with recruitment agency partners in China – Drive growth in Chinese student enrolments across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Vietnam – Engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to support recruitment objectives – Develop the China market through targeted outreach and relationship-building activities – Represent British University Vietnam at recruitment events and related activities – Travel regularly within China and periodically to Vietnam to support recruitment and partnership efforts REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS China remains one of the most important student recruitment markets globally, and this role plays a critical part in strengthening BUV’s visibility and competitiveness in the region. By building trusted partnerships and representing the university directly in-market, the position supports sustainable enrolment growth and long-term institutional presence.
