OVERVIEW The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is appointing a Director of Recruitment and Admissions to lead a newly established Recruitment and Admissions Division. This senior leadership role brings together student marketing, recruitment, admissions, widening participation, financial support, and study abroad under a single strategic framework. Based in London with hybrid working, the role is central to shaping how LSE attracts and admits students from around the world while safeguarding academic standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide strategic leadership for the newly established Recruitment and Admissions Division. – Integrate student marketing, student recruitment and study abroad, admissions, widening participation, and financial support functions. – Hold operational accountability for pre-enrolment services across the institution. – Lead access-related services, including widening participation activities. – Oversee study abroad recruitment and operations. – Drive global student attraction strategies to recruit high-calibre students. – Ensure admissions processes maintain LSE’s academic standards.
