The position available is for a Study Abroad Manager who will be responsible for managing various programs to support international mobility for students at Hull University. These programs include in-year study abroad programs with exchange partners and summer opportunities. The Study Abroad Manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships with key stakeholders involved in student mobility, such as exchange partners, international organizations that support mobility, and internal contacts who aid in the delivery of mobility programs. They will also organize pre-arrival communication, induction, and ongoing support for outgoing and incoming students participating in mobility programs. Increasing the number of fee-paying Visiting Students and supporting incoming students on exchange or short courses will be a priority for the Study Abroad Manager. It is important that they exhibit strong inter-cultural competency and respect in their work, aligning with the University’s global and inclusive values. Applicants for this role should possess confident managerial skills and be capable of handling a diverse and complex workload.
