Job Title: Student Recruitment Officer Location: Melbourne CBD, Full-time The Adelaide Education Group (AEG) is a dynamic education consortium based in South Australia that offers government accredited and non-award courses from Primary to Postgraduate levels for both local and international students. AEG consists of the Adelaide International School (AIS), Adelaide Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT), Adelaide Institute of Higher Education (AIHE), and Adelaide Research Institute (ARI). As a Student Recruitment Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting the organization in achieving student growth, profitability, and international standing. Your main focus will be attracting prospective students locally and abroad to AEG’s wide range of educational programs, from school programs to postgraduate studies. You will work closely with AEG’s recruitment team to implement marketing and recruitment strategies and meet student recruitment targets for the three Institutes: Adelaide Institute of Higher Education, Adelaide Institute for Business and Technology, and Adelaide International School. Responsibilities: – Represent AEG at recruitment events, school/university events, and agent events. – Provide meaningful advice to potential students, recommending the most suitable programs and pathways for them and assisting with admission requirements. – Maintain relationships with AEG’s current agents, providing regular updates on products and admission requirements. – Ensure compliance with the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students (National Code) 2018 and update AEG’s agent database. – Collaborate with AEG’s Admissions team to provide timely and complete information for the issuance of Offer Letters and Confirmations of Enrolment. – Provide market feedback to the Marketing and Recruitment team to refine recruitment strategies and marketing materials. – Assist the Melbourne Campus Coordinator in addressing queries from agents, students, and applicants. Essential Requirements: – Minimum of three years’ experience in student recruitment. – Bachelor’s degree in marketing, international studies, or business. – Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). – Excellent written and verbal communication skills. – Familiarity with Australian Department of Home Affairs policy guidelines and regulatory requirements. Desirable: – Experience in international higher education, Registered Training Organization (RTO), or school environments. – Degree or extensive experience in a similar role. Clearances and Checks: The successful candidate must hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) from the Victorian Government and a National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain both.
