University of Strathclyde

Strathclyde Business School in the UAE is thrilled to announce an opening for the position of Student Recruitment and Conversion Officer (UAE), situated at our Dubai Knowledge Park branch. This pivotal role focuses on promoting and recruiting driven individuals for the Strathclyde Executive MBA, as well as other executive programs offered in the UAE.

Position: Full-Time (35 hours/week)
Contract: Fixed Term (24 months)

Since 1988, SBS has been offering the Strathclyde MBA on an executive (part-time) basis through our global centers, and since 1995, we’ve been successfully running the program in the UAE. With ambitious growth plans and a continued commitment to the GCC region, we’re excited to seek candidates for this vital role at our MBA center in Knowledge Park. The officer will not only attract and recruit top candidates but also enhance brand awareness for both the business school and the broader University in this important market, alongside income generation responsibilities for the UAE.

The position requires close collaboration with the Head of Marketing, handling all B2C (Business to Consumer) recruitment and conversion activities for the programs offered at our UAE branch. The officer will also contribute to B2B (Business to Business) recruitment efforts. Responsibilities include scheduling, publicizing, and hosting recruitment events, managing the customer journey from initial interest through to enrollment, engaging with alumni, and reporting on key performance indicators.

Candidates must possess proven skills in business development, sales, and conversion, alongside a thorough understanding of the political, economic, and business landscapes of the Gulf region, with specific insight into the higher education sector. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, as is the capability to manage and cultivate key business relationships crucial to our MBA program in the UAE. Reporting to the Head of Campus, you’ll join a committed team of local administrative and academic staff, as well as local counselors. Applicants should either reside in or plan to relocate to Dubai on a full-time basis.
