A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the University of Surrey as an International Partnerships Manager within the South Central Space Cluster. This role is based at the University of Surrey’s Stag Hill Campus, however carries considerable international travel opportunities including visits to our cluster partners and overseas travel on international projects. You will be responsible for international engagement, driving export and investment and developing bilateral relationships. Your key responsibilities will include: – Working with regional economic managers – Building relationships with international space organisations and clusters – Liaising with central government organisations such as the UK Space Agency, the Department for Business and Trade and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology – Scoping out opportunities for new projects and initiatives with international partners – Increasing engagement and elevating awareness of Space South Central’s capabilities – Identifying and influencing economic development priorities related to the space sector – Providing an account management service to key international prospects We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and experienced in working with a range of stakeholders, as well as having an understanding of trade and international policy.
