OVERVIEW The Pathways Coordinator at St Francis Catholic College, Cobblebank Campus, is a leadership role focused on guiding students through career and post-school planning from Years 7 to 12. This position supports learners to make informed decisions about subject selection, further education, training, and employment, ensuring strong preparation for life beyond school. The role contributes to the development of a growing campus that will expand to accommodate up to 1500 students by 2028. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead the delivery of careers and pathways education at the Cobblebank Campus. – Support students to make informed decisions regarding subject selection. – Provide guidance on further education, training, and employment pathways. – Deliver individual pathways counselling, including Year 12 exit interviews. – Coordinate work experience programs. – Organise and support careers events. – Build and maintain partnerships with tertiary providers. – Build and maintain partnerships with industry to broaden student opportunities. – Support successful student transitions beyond school. REQUIREMENTS – Demonstrated experience in a pathways or student-focused role. – Eligibility to apply as either a teaching or education support candidate. – For teaching applicants: suitability for a POL 3 role with a time release of 18 periods and a tenure of three years. – For non-teaching applicants: suitability for a Category B, Level 3 full-time, ongoing position. – Ability to obtain or hold a valid Working with Children’s Check. – Ability to obtain or hold a National Police Check, or current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). – Valid visa and/or full Australian working rights.
