OVERVIEW This role supports Indigenous student pathways into higher education through targeted outreach and engagement activities. Based at the Clayton campus, the position works within an inclusive university environment committed to cultural respect and collaboration. It is a continuing, full-time appointment identified for Indigenous people. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support targeted outreach initiatives to raise awareness of Monash within Indigenous communities – Represent the university in external engagement and outreach activities – Promote inclusive pathways into higher education – Support Indigenous students as they commence their university journey – Contribute to a culturally safe and inclusive environment – Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes REQUIREMENTS – Identified role open to Indigenous applicants only – Strong interpersonal and communication skills – Excellent planning and organisational abilities – Experience working respectfully and effectively with First Nations communities – Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and cultural respect WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Access to higher education can transform lives, families, and communities.
