OVERVIEW St Stanislaus College is seeking caring and reliable Boarding House Supervisors to join its boarding team on a casual basis in Bathurst, NSW. Stannies is a day and boarding college for boys in Years 7 to 12 and provides a supportive home environment for students during school terms. The role focuses on student supervision, pastoral care, wellbeing support, and positive guidance within a residential community. Working closely with the Head of Boarding, Deputy Head of Boarding, and House Parents, successful applicants will help maintain a safe and welcoming boarding environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide supervision and pastoral care for students living away from home – Support student wellbeing through positive guidance and daily interaction – Help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive boarding community – Work closely with the Head of Boarding, Deputy Head of Boarding, and House Parents – Supervise daily routines, study sessions, and recreation activities – Monitor and support students within the boarding house environment – Participate in a rotating roster across weekdays and weekends – Undertake overnight stays when required REQUIREMENTS – Excellent communication skills – Sound judgement – Genuine interest in supporting young people – Ability to work independently and as part of a team – Reliable and caring approach – Current NSW Working With Children Check subject to completion and verification processes WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Boarding professionals play an important role in supporting students as they live and study away from home.
