OVERVIEW Oakhill College in Castle Hill, Sydney NSW is seeking a College Enrolments Registrar for a permanent full-time position operating 47 weeks per year, commencing Term 3 2026. The Registrar is a key member of the College community and serves as the first point of contact for prospective families while managing the student enrolment process. Oakhill College is an Independent Catholic Secondary School in the Lasallian tradition with approximately 2,250 students and a strong focus on community, academic excellence, pastoral care, and professional development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Receive, review, and process enrolment applications and acceptances – Meet with prospective and current parents and guardians – Conduct school tours and explain the College’s facilities, requirements, and operations – Attend major Oakhill College events appropriate to the role – Answer enquiries concerning enrolments – Maintain the student enrolment database – Organise and oversee enrolment interviews, processes, and documentation regarding acceptances – Regularly review the status of acceptances and waiting lists to assure full intake – Collaborate with key stakeholders to organise Information Evenings for prospective parents and guardians – Collaborate with key stakeholders to organise College Tours, Principal Talks, and interviews – Collaborate with key stakeholders to organise Open Days and College expos – Prepare and implement follow-up plans for enquiries and prospective families attending College tours – Recommend enrolment-related strategies – Prepare accurate enrolment data and reports for the College Principal and/or Business Manager, including application status, enquiries, and withdrawals REQUIREMENTS – Experience working in a similar role in a school environment is advantageous – Experience developing and administering complex processes requiring planning, organisation, sound judgement, attention to detail, and feedback provision – Excellent organisational and time-management skills – Strong communication and interpersonal skills – High level of attention to detail and accuracy – Clear understanding of and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School – Support for the Lasallian ethos of the College – Commitment to the College’s Safeguarding Standards and Child Protection policies and procedures – Ability to work as an experienced, innovative, and engaging team member – Sound ICT skills – Commitment to professional growth and development of excellence – Knowledge of Digistorm and TASS databases is desirable – Ability to complete required employment screening checks, including NSW Working with Children Check, National Police Check, reference, identity, work rights, and statutory checks WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS The College Enrolments Registrar plays an important role in shaping the experience of prospective families and supporting smooth student admissions processes.
