OVERVIEW The Project Coordinator, EIX Service Delivery & Enablement is a fixed-term role at Swinburne University of Technology supporting priority initiatives within the Education Innovation Exchange (EIX). Working under general direction, the position contributes to business improvement and transformation initiatives aligned with Swinburne’s Ad Astra 2030 strategy, with a focus on enhancing learner experience, academic operations, and cross-functional collaboration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide project, service delivery, and operational coordination support across the Education Innovation Exchange (EIX) – Coordinate project activities and progress work within agreed timeframes – Maintain project documentation, records, and administrative systems – Support governance processes, including preparation of papers and tracking actions – Prepare communications and briefing materials – Assist stakeholder engagement across a range of initiatives – Support service improvement, system enhancement, and delivery activities across the transformation lifecycle – Contribute to efficient, user-focused service delivery REQUIREMENTS – Demonstrated ability to coordinate competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a complex environment – Experience in project support, service coordination, administration, and accurate recordkeeping – Demonstrated experience in project coordination, service improvement, business/process improvement, and/or operational support – Ability to contribute to high-quality, user-focused services for a range of stakeholders – Capability to contribute to process improvement, service redesign, and implementation activities using structured approaches – Ability to translate information and feedback into practical actions and measurable improvements – Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills – Ability to work collaboratively with academic and professional staff – Ability to respond to queries effectively and support coordinated delivery across multiple activities – Extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields – Qualifications and/or certification in service design, Lean/process improvement, project management, and/or change management, or equivalent demonstrated experience – Ability to meet appointment requirements, including passing a Working with Children Check WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role supports the successful delivery of transformation and service improvement initiatives that directly impact how education services are designed and delivered.
