OVERVIEW The Student Services Manager role is a senior leadership opportunity within a well-regarded higher education provider based in Sydney’s North West & Hills District. Reporting to the Registrar, this position is responsible for leading student services operations and ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and supportive student experience across the full student lifecycle. The role combines people leadership, regulatory oversight, and process improvement in a faith-based educational environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support the Registrar across all areas of student administration and services – Lead, mentor, and develop the Student Services team to ensure best practice delivery – Review and enhance student data processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance – Oversee student onboarding, credit transfer and recognition of prior learning (RPL), and grievance procedures – Maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and security of student records – Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and standards REQUIREMENTS – Proven experience in a student services leadership role, ideally within higher education – Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and student administration processes – Advanced data management skills with a focus on accuracy and reporting – Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams – Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills – Full working rights in Australia – Availability to work five days per week on-site – Ability to work in alignment with the organisation’s Christian faith-based mission, culture, and ethical framework WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student services functions are central to institutional quality, regulatory compliance, and student satisfaction in higher education.
