OVERVIEW This role supports international students throughout their education and migration journey in Australia, combining student advisory services with migration agent assistance. Based at the Sydney headquarters, the position sits within a large, established education and migration agency serving clients across Australia and overseas. It is well suited to Mandarin-speaking professionals seeking long-term career development in international education and migration services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Providing professional academic advice for international students – Communicating with education providers to follow up on students’ applications – Assisting with students’ applications and enrolments – Assisting with students’ visa applications – Assisting the Migration Agent in preparing documentation for visa applications – Assisting the MARA agent to prepare timely and accurate advice regarding visa options and other related immigration issues – Liaising with clients over the phone, in person, and via email – Gathering visa documents from clients and following up on applications – Accurately maintaining and updating client files in relevant systems, including working with a CRM system REQUIREMENTS – Mandarin speaker – Education Consultant or Registered Migration Agent assistant experience – Ability to remain on top of changing legislation and policies – Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly – Good writing and communication skills – Professional, fast, and accurate work style with high attention to detail – Ability to work independently without supervision – Strong project management skills – Ability to effectively communicate and liaise with the Department of Home Affairs, education providers, and other parties – Strong customer service attitude WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Education consultants and migration agent assistants play a critical role in helping international students navigate complex education pathways and visa processes.
