OVERVIEW EF International Language Campuses in Sydney is hiring an International Student Accommodation Coordinator for its Chippendale campus. This role focuses on recruiting and supporting host families, maintaining student accommodation standards, and building strong relationships with accommodation providers. The position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international education environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Recruit host families in accordance with EF policy – Follow the host family recruitment plan – Handle telemarketing and respond to host family phone calls and enquiries – Participate in off-site promotional recruitment activities, including street actions, events, fairs, and leafleting – Ensure all enquiries from prospective hosts are followed up promptly – Visit prospective hosts to assess suitability and complete visit forms accurately while complying with accreditations and local authority requirements – Answer host questions and provide appropriate documentation – Track weekly recruitment statistics with the Accommodation Team and Director of Student Services – Deliver a high level of customer support to host families and international students – Maintain relationships with existing residence suppliers – Identify opportunities to expand the accommodation portfolio – Process and maintain homestay provider records – Share emergency on-call duties with other school staff – Work with the Host Family team to support homestay visits and recruitment activities – Support the management and quality standards of student residences REQUIREMENTS – Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills – Highly developed customer service focus and a positive attitude – Target-driven mindset and excellent organizational skills – Appreciation of international cultures – Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure – Strong attention to detail – Complete fluency in English – Driving license desirable but not essential – Long-term work rights in Australia – Ability to build strong relationships with homestay hosts and residence suppliers – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment – Job-specific cover letter and accompanying resume required through the company site WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Accommodation is a central part of the international student experience and directly impacts student wellbeing, safety, and cultural integration.
