OVERVIEW The Student Success Officer role at Australian Paramedical College (APC), part of Industry Pathways Pty Ltd, focuses on delivering high-quality student support within Australia’s vocational education sector. Based in Brisbane, this position is central to ensuring learners feel supported, informed, and motivated throughout their studies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Act as the first point of contact for students, responding to enquiries via phone, email, and student support platforms with a focus on progression and completion. – Proactively engage with students to identify concerns, provide guidance, and support learner engagement and course progression. – Manage data entry related to student enrolments and course completions. – Collaborate with internal teams to resolve student challenges and improve the overall student journey. – Advocate for students to ensure their needs and feedback are represented across the organisation. – Complete administrative processes and tasks associated with the student lifecycle using internal systems. REQUIREMENTS – Experience in student support, administration, or customer service roles. – A caring and empathetic approach, with genuine motivation to help students achieve their goals. – Positive and enthusiastic attitude, particularly when supporting and motivating others. – Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. – Strong communication and organisational skills. – Proactive and solutions-focused problem-solving approach. – High level of attention to detail and accuracy. – Adaptability to changing environments and processes. – Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and remain calm. – Confidence using technology, with willingness to learn new systems. – Previous experience in customer service, support, or account management. – Desirable but not required: experience in the education sector or with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). – Desirable but not required: Mental Health First Aid certification.
