OVERVIEW The Student Recruitment Manager role at Acknowledge Education is a senior, impact-focused position within a growing Australian higher education and VET provider. Based in Melbourne, this role leads recruitment strategy and execution to drive enrollment growth while representing the institution with professionalism and integrity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Develop and execute comprehensive student recruitment strategies aligned with organizational enrollment goals and market opportunities in the Melbourne region – Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, parents, educational agents, and school partners – Organize and coordinate recruitment events, campus tours, information sessions, and student engagement programs – Analyze recruitment data and metrics to assess campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend strategic improvements – Manage recruitment budgets and allocate resources efficiently to maximize return on investment – Collaborate with admissions, marketing, and academic departments to ensure consistent messaging and seamless student onboarding – Stay current with higher education trends, the competitive landscape, and evolving student recruitment best practices – Represent the organization professionally at recruitment fairs, community events, and educational forums REQUIREMENTS – Proven experience in student recruitment, enrollment management, or higher education marketing (minimum 3–5 years) – Demonstrated success in developing and implementing recruitment strategies that drive enrollment growth – Strong leadership and team management experience with the ability to motivate and develop staff – Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences – Proficiency with CRM systems, recruitment platforms, and data analysis tools – Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously – Knowledge of the Australian higher education sector and Perth’s student recruitment market – Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills – Proficiency in budget management and financial planning – Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset – Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student recruitment is central to the sustainability and mission of higher education institutions, particularly in competitive international and domestic markets.
