Fulltime: 38 hours per week. Roles and responsibilities include: The International Student Coordinator (ISC) will support the Principal Class Member who oversees the International Student Program, with management of all Department of Education requirements in the International Student Program. The role will include the following: Take operational responsibility for all aspects of the International Student Program (ISP) for full fee paying and exchange students, including airport pickups, enrolment processes, student welfare and orientation, both pre and post arrival. Oversee relationships and communication with education agents, and support the promotion and marketing of the International Student Program (ISP) to strengthen enrolment opportunities and community engagement. Regularly monitor overseas student attendance, check academic performance and organise translations of reporting documents. Assist in the ongoing implementation of the on-site English Language Centre. Support international students with visa, work and school-based enquiries, arrange speakers and organise seminars in conjunction with careers advisors. Conduct regular meetings with international students. Represent Strathmore Secondary College at relevant Department of Education briefings, liaise with the ISP Unit, arrange attendance and participation of international students at organised events, functions and advertisement of these events in school publications. Provide information and advice to the teaching staff and Principal team on ISP matters which impact school operations. Manage the processing of international student admissions, registrations, enrolments and transfers. Provide required level of administrative support for school events, functions and projects. Implement induction programs for new international students to the school and conduct orientation programs Work with the front office administration team and International Homestay Coordinator regarding student enrolment on CASES, the master database, RTP processes and student application status via VISIT. Support the administrative needs of the program in line with DET requirements and as directed by the Principal Team Member overseeing the ISP. Distribution of tuition/VCAA invoices to parents and students and as required follow up with students/ parents on overdue tuition fees, VCAA fees and homestay fees Enrol VSL Language course, VSV, CHES or similar courses for international students on Department of Education VISIT system Work with the front office administration team and International Homestay Coordinator regarding student enrolment on CASES, the master database, RTP processes and student application status via VISIT, Organise translation and interpreting as required for interviews and ISP needs.
