OVERVIEW The Student Experience Manager plays a senior professional role within the Faculty of Arts, Sciences, Law and Business at The University of Notre Dame Australia. Based at either the Sydney (Broadway) or Fremantle campus, this full-time continuing position focuses on enhancing student engagement, employability, and belonging through coordinated faculty-wide initiatives. The role sits at the intersection of academic programs, industry engagement, and institutional strategy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Develop and implement the Faculty Student Experience Plan aligned with University and Faculty strategic priorities and program curriculum, in consultation with Faculty leadership. – Oversee the operational coordination of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) activities across the Faculty, working closely with key University and Faculty stakeholders. – Design, deliver, and review school and Faculty initiatives that enhance student experience, including industry and employer engagement opportunities. – Monitor, analyse, and report on student experience and WIL metrics and feedback, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. – Contribute to University-wide policy, procedures, guidelines, and organisational reporting related to student experience. – Manage and collaborate with staff supporting WIL, overseas immersions, and student events, including oversight of Faculty event budgets and stakeholder relationships. REQUIREMENTS – Postgraduate qualifications (or progress towards) and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. – Demonstrated experience developing and reviewing contracts, reports, and proposals, supported by strong negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills. – Extensive experience delivering programs and events that enhance student experience and foster a strong sense of belonging. – Up-to-date knowledge of legislation, policies, procedures, and best practice related to Work Integrated Learning and student experience. – Proven ability to manage complex stakeholders across academic, administrative, public, clinical, and corporate environments, with strong teamwork and coordination skills. – Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including budget oversight, use of systems such as SONIA (or equivalent), and proficiency with MS Office and new technologies.
