OVERVIEW The Student Services Officer (Administration) at Christian College Geelong is a full-time, ongoing role based at the Surf Coast campus in Victoria, Australia. This position supports the day-to-day operations of a K–12 Christian school by acting as a central point of contact for students and contributing to a high standard of administrative service across the campus. Reporting to the Administration Team Leader, the role combines frontline student support, records management, and first aid coordination within a values-driven educational environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Act as a key point of contact for students, responding to enquiries and providing day-to-day support – Support student attendance processes and maintain accurate attendance records – Coordinate first aid and sick bay responsibilities in accordance with school procedures – Triage student wellbeing concerns with discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality – Maintain accurate student records, including medical information, using database systems such as COMPASS or similar – Contribute to the effective day-to-day operations of the campus administration – Deliver a high standard of service to students, staff, and families as part of the College Administration team REQUIREMENTS – Demonstrated experience in a frontline administrative or student services role, including managing enquiries and providing high-quality customer service – Ability to support student wellbeing and manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism – Experience maintaining accurate records using database systems such as COMPASS or similar – Current First Aid qualifications, including HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 Provide CPR – Demonstrated ability to manage student health needs, administer basic first aid, and respond to medical incidents in line with duty of care requirements – Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment – Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families – Warm, friendly, and professional approach to work – Reliability, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset – Current Working with Children Check and commitment to child safety standards WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student Services Officers play a crucial role in ensuring that students feel supported, safe, and well cared for during their school day.
