OVERVIEW The Senior Coordinator, Student Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework is a strategic role focused on shaping a whole-of-university approach to student wellbeing at the University of Canberra. Working at a senior coordination level, the role leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive framework that embeds mental health and wellbeing across the entire student lifecycle. It is a fixed-term, full-time position through December 2027, with flexible working arrangements available. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support and lead the coordinated development and implementation of the Student Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework – Conduct research and benchmarking to inform best practice approaches – Facilitate meaningful consultation and co-design with a broad range of stakeholders – Translate complex insights into high-quality framework documents, guidelines, tools and resources – Coordinate project timelines, deliverables and reporting requirements, including SSAF-funded initiatives – Develop and deliver engaging training and resources to support implementation across diverse teams – Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external wellbeing partners REQUIREMENTS – Relevant qualifications and experience in public health, social work, psychology, health promotion, education, policy or a related field – Demonstrated skills in project leadership, research, co-design and stakeholder engagement – Experience developing high-quality publications and training resources WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student mental health and wellbeing are critical to engagement, retention, and academic success in higher education.
