LTSA works hard to make student life better for the students of La Trobe University, on the Bendigo, City, Mildura, Shepparton and Albury-Wodonga campuses, and to support a cohort of International Students. We proudly run the LTSA Student Pantry program and the independent LTSA Student Advocacy service for all La Trobe students. We will also soon support an array of Clubs and Societies across the regional campus network. The Role The Student Support and Engagement Officer (SSEO) is responsible for providing support in the operation of the LTSA on the La Trobe University (LTU) Bendigo campus. This is primarily an events and student engagement role , ensuring the students of LTU Bendigo have the best university experience possible. These responsibilities and activities will support the engagement of Bendigo students, promote social interaction between students and support their wellbeing through a range of diverse cultural, health and wellbeing, academic and community-based activities, provide face to face customer service to students and other visitors to the La Trobe Bendigo Campus at our LTSA Info Centre, and to manage ordering and restocking of the LTSA Student Pantry and Stockroom (a free grocery and homewares store for LTU students) on the Bendigo Campus. The Engagement Officer will use their creativity and passion for engagement to create a strong sense of fun and community on campus through their work with the LTSA Student Council members, student groups, and the general campus population. The LTSA SSEO will provide additional support to various La Trobe University teams, and develop a strong, professional, and effective Student Association presence, to ensure the best outcome for students. Due to the student facing nature of this role, work is expected to be completed from campus, during our Info Centre opening hours of 9am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday.
