OVERVIEW This role sits within a regional university environment that values connection, community, and meaningful impact. As part of the Study Well team, the position focuses on inclusive learning and wellbeing support so students can achieve their potential in higher education. The work is cross campus and collaborative, with opportunities to contribute to accessibility and compliance related to disability across the university. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Assess student needs, developing tailored learning access plans and reasonable adjustments – Provide expert advice on disability inclusion, assistive technology and inclusive education practices – Partner with academic and professional staff to facilitate equitable access and success REQUIREMENTS – A bachelor’s degree or higher and experience in allied health, special education, social welfare, mental health, occupational therapy, speech pathology or a related field – Proven experience in disability services and familiarity with the challenges and barriers faced by students with disability in accessing and succeeding in higher education – Strong understanding of legislation, policies, and guidelines related to disability services and inclusion in education – Strong problem-solving and judgement skills – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, staff and stakeholders effectively WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Inclusive education relies on skilled professionals who can translate policy into practical support.
