KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Assess student needs, developing tailored learning access plans and reasonable adjustments – Provide expert advice on disability inclusion, assistive technology and inclusive education practices – Partner with academic and professional staff to facilitate equitable access and success REQUIREMENTS – A bachelor’s degree or higher and experience in allied health, special education, social welfare, mental health, occupational therapy, speech pathology or a related field – Proven experience in disability services and familiarity with the challenges and barriers faced by students with disability in accessing and succeeding in higher education – Strong understanding of legislation, policies, and guidelines related to disability services and inclusion in education – Strong problem-solving and judgement skills – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, staff and stakeholders effectively WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Inclusive education relies on skilled professionals who can translate policy into practical support.
