The position will ensure continuous improvement and delivery of ACU’s safeguarding and student safety strategy and function. The focus of the Student Safety Coordinator is to provide assistance, information and trauma informed case management for students who have experienced sexual assault, sexual harassment, family and domestic violence, other forms of sexual harm or inappropriate behaviour. Working closely with the National Manager and Safeguarding & Student Safety team, this role supports the development and management of prevention strategies and delivers promotional initiatives to raise awareness of and reduce instances of inappropriate or concerning behaviour. Total remuneration valued to $124,509 – $134,699 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $105,212 – $113,823 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff. Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks’ salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
