OVERVIEW The University of Adelaide is seeking a Credit and Admissions Officer to join the Student Engagement and Success Portfolio in adelaide. This is a full-time continuing position supporting credit assessments and admissions processes within the university environment. The role focuses on accuracy, compliance, communication, and service delivery while working closely with students, professional staff, and the Tertiary Admissions Centre. The position sits within the Scholarships and Admissions Standards team and reports to the Team Lead, Credit and Admissions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Complete domestic and international credit assessments accurately – Follow relevant approval and compliance processes for admissions and credit matters – Provide timely and consistent communication with stakeholders across the university – Support a consistent and efficient approach to admissions services – Work closely with internal support service areas, students, professional staff, and the Tertiary Admissions Centre – Contribute to a stable and reliable team environment – Deliver exceptional service and support to students, staff, and stakeholders REQUIREMENTS – Experience in a complex service organisation – Proven ability in the provision of high-level advice and recommendations – Experience in research and analytical skills – Experience in interpretation of policies and procedures – Proven ability in written and verbal communication – Proven ability with attention to detail – Legal right to work in Australia for the term of appointment WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role supports the integrity and consistency of admissions and credit assessment processes at the university.
