OVERVIEW The College of Intensive Care Medicine is seeking a full-time SIMG Coordinator based in Prahran, Melbourne VIC. This professional role supports Specialist International Medical Graduate pathways through administration, coordination, stakeholder communication, and compliance activities within the education and training environment. The position focuses on supporting international medical graduates undertaking training and professional development through the college. The role requires strong coordination capability, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality support across multiple administrative processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Coordinate end-to-end administration of SIMG and Short-Term Training pathways – Manage applications, assessments, interviews, and outcome communications – Liaise with applicants, Fellows, assessors, and external stakeholders – Maintain compliance with AMC and MCNZ requirements – Prepare correspondence, reports, and pathway documentation – Support monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives – Provide committee and governance support, including meeting coordination and minute-taking REQUIREMENTS – At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative or coordination role – Strong organisational skills and attention to detail – Ability to manage competing priorities effectively – Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – Experience working with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements – Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database or systems administration – Experience in healthcare, medical education, accreditation, membership organisations, or committee support is highly regarded WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role contributes to the effective administration and coordination of specialist pathways that support international medical graduates in their professional development.
