OVERVIEW The University of Canberra is seeking an Integrity and Resolution Officer to join the Institutional Quality Assurance team in canberra. This full time continuing role focuses on supporting the fair and effective management of student complaints, grievances, misconduct appeals and medical leave matters. The position supports university integrity processes through policy application, communication and coordination across committees and stakeholders. The successful candidate will contribute to positive outcomes for people involved in sensitive student matters while supporting compliance with legislative and procedural requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support the management of complex student cases – Provide secretariat support to the Student Appeals Committee – Provide secretariat support to the Medical Appeals Panel – Provide secretariat support to the Student Conduct Committee – Assist with managing student grievance matters – Assist with managing misconduct and serious misconduct appeals – Assist with managing medical leave matters – Maintain effective communication, record keeping and outcomes across integrity and resolution processes – Interpret and apply policies and procedures in sensitive matters REQUIREMENTS – Highly organised and detail-oriented professional approach – Excellent written communication skills – Strong attention to detail – Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures – Ability to balance compliance requirements with judgement and discretion – Experience building positive relationships with a wide range of people and stakeholders – Ability to work collaboratively – Experience in tertiary education, governance, integrity or compliance settings is highly regarded – Valid working rights at the time of application submission – Ability to obtain a current ACT working with vulnerable people registration – Submit a CV and one-page cover letter to apply WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role supports the integrity of university decision-making and student resolution processes.
