OVERVIEW The Future Student Officer (Pathways) role at Adelaide University sits within the International and External Engagement Portfolio and focuses on coordinating student recruitment initiatives across domestic and regional markets. Based at the Adelaide CBD campus, this is a full-time, 18-month fixed-term position that involves extensive collaboration, outreach, and representation of the University. The role is well suited to professionals who enjoy customer-facing work, relationship building, and contributing to future student pathways into higher education. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Assist with coordinating student recruitment initiatives across domestic and regional markets. – Represent Adelaide University at recruitment events. – Implement outreach activities to engage prospective students. – Build and maintain relationships with schools, pathway providers, and public avenues. – Work closely with Academic units, marketing teams, domestic admissions teams, and future student experience teams. – Engage with external secondary school staff and community stakeholders. – Travel locally or nationally as required to support recruitment activities. REQUIREMENTS – Experience coordinating student recruitment or marketing initiatives. – Experience developing promotional materials and campaigns. – Experience managing CRM systems and tracking engagement. – Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders, including schools and community groups. – Strong organisational and time management skills. – Current driver’s license. – Eligibility to hold a current Working with Children Check. – Legal right to work in Australia for the term of appointment.
