OVERVIEW The Officer, Progressions, Results & Conferral role at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is a professional services position focused on delivering accurate, policy-compliant student administration outcomes. Based within the Lifetime Learner Experience Unit, the role supports critical academic lifecycle processes that underpin student progression and award conferral. This position operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and contributes directly to service quality for students and academic stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Ensuring accurate and timely service delivery while managing a high volume of tasks with competing deadlines – Processing changes to student study plans in an accurate and compliant manner – Adhering to relevant policy, procedure, and legislative requirements – Communicating effectively through various channels with a diverse range of stakeholders, including students, academic staff, and faculty support staff – Providing high-level support to the Study Plan Management team, customers, and stakeholders – Solving problems supported by policy and established procedures – Providing peer training and guidance where required – Developing and analysing reports – Monitoring operational delivery and ensuring customer service standards are met – Building and maintaining an understanding of all Study Plan Management functions across different workload cycles REQUIREMENTS – Demonstrated ability to use complex systems such as CRM and student management systems – Proven ability to maintain records with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail – Experience troubleshooting system or process issues – Experience guiding others to effectively use systems and follow established processes – Experience working collaboratively within a team environment – Experience supporting a diverse range of customers and stakeholders – Experience working in a high-volume administrative environment – Current and valid work rights in Australia WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Accurate management of student progressions, results, and conferral is essential to institutional integrity and student success.
