OVERVIEW The Daily Organiser (Part-time) role at Parade College is a pivotal education support position focused on the smooth day-to-day operation of a large secondary school. Working approximately 20 hours per week during weekday mornings, the role supports teaching and learning by ensuring staffing, supervision, and facilities are effectively coordinated. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Work with the Director of Operations as part of the Daily Organisation Team – Ensure the efficient and effective daily operations of the College – Coordinate, manage, and monitor short-term cover for teacher absences – Manage duty rosters to ensure appropriate student supervision outside class time – Coordinate significant events across the College – Manage the allocation and use of classrooms and common facilities – Support scheduling and rostering of key College programs – Contribute to the overall Daily Organisation function as required – Undertake detailed data entry and validation using multiple platforms REQUIREMENTS – Strong administrative skills and ability to multitask – Exceptional organisational and time-management skills – Excellent attention to detail and accuracy – Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills – Strong initiative and ownership over tasks – Reliable, flexible, proactive approach with a strong work ethic – Ability to work both independently and collaboratively – Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management – Valid Working with Children Check – Understanding of the Victorian Child Safe Standards – Right to work in Australia – Commitment to the College Mission, Catholic ethos, and participation in the faith life of the College – Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS The Daily Organiser plays a central role in maintaining continuity of learning and student safety by ensuring that staffing and supervision arrangements are always in place.
