OVERVIEW The Evaluations Adviser role at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) is a full-time, ongoing appointment focused on strengthening course and program quality across the University. Based at the Toowoomba, Springfield, or Ipswich campus, this position sits within the Curriculum and Quality Unit and works closely with the Manager (Evaluation Methodologies). The role offers the opportunity to influence student experience and learning outcomes through evidence-based evaluation, analysis, and continuous improvement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Develop, implement, and maintain evaluation strategies to support course and program enhancement. – Design and deliver evaluation activities related to learning and teaching quality. – Coordinate and administer student feedback surveys and course evaluation processes. – Analyse qualitative and quantitative data and translate findings into actionable recommendations. – Prepare reports, dashboards, and regular reporting on quality assurance and evaluation activities. – Manage evaluation-related projects and associated documentation. – Conduct research, benchmarking, and analysis to support innovative evaluation methodologies. – Engage with academic and professional staff to facilitate discussions and contribute to professional development. – Build capability in evaluation and quality practices across the University. – Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across courses, programs, and portfolios. REQUIREMENTS – Undergraduate qualifications in a relevant field. – Demonstrated experience in evaluation methodologies and project management. – Experience working in, or closely with, the tertiary education sector. – Strong skills in data analysis, visualisation, and reporting. – Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. – Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a changing environment. – Capacity to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders. – Commitment to UniSQ’s values of Respect, Integrity, and Excellence. – Willingness to undertake occasional travel between campuses. – Right to work in Australia.
