OVERVIEW The Student Wellbeing Support Officer at UNSW College plays a central operational role within the Student Wellbeing team in Kensington, Sydney. This position focuses on coordinating student wellbeing administration, maintaining accurate records, supporting under 18 international students, and responding to enquiries from students, parents, and stakeholders. The role suits an organised and proactive professional who enjoys administrative coordination, problem-solving, and contributing to positive student experiences. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Deliver customer service by responding to student, parent, and stakeholder enquiries via phone, email, face-to-face, and online channels. – Support the administration and welfare monitoring of under 18 international students. – Maintain student records and prepare regular reports. – Ensure compliance with College policies, privacy requirements, and relevant legislation relating to international education and student welfare. – Monitor student wellbeing through regular welfare check-ins. – Work closely with Student Wellbeing Advisors to ensure students receive appropriate support. – Maintain and update student documentation, interview schedules, and reports with accuracy and confidentiality. – Perform administrative and student support duties to assist the Student Wellbeing Manager and broader Student Support team. REQUIREMENTS – Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. – Excellent communication skills, including providing clear information and advice in person, by telephone, and via email. – Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute positively to team operations and working relationships. – A Working With Children Check, or eligibility to apply for one. – Mandarin language skills are advantageous but not essential.
