OVERVIEW The Student Services Advisor role is a nine-month fixed term opportunity within Online Education Services, a global organization supporting higher education providers through innovative online learning solutions. Based in Cremorne, Melbourne with a hybrid work model, this position focuses on delivering high-quality administrative and customer service support across the student lifecycle. The role suits professionals who enjoy varied responsibilities, autonomy, and contributing to positive student experiences in higher education. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide effective student services support across higher education programs – Manage a broad range of activities related to the student lifecycle – Support student admissions processes – Conduct and manage credit assessments – Coordinate student placements – Process and support student enrolments – Deliver accurate and timely administrative support – Provide responsive, student-focused customer service – Support the wider Student Operations teams REQUIREMENTS – Demonstrated experience in an administrative role involving coordination of multiple functions – Experience within a tertiary education institution (preferred) – Ability to interpret and provide advice on policies and procedures – Strong commitment to exemplary customer service – Flexibility and responsiveness to customer needs – High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and database applications – Ability to learn and adapt to new systems – Excellent communication skills – Strong attention to detail – Solution-focused approach to problem solving – Tertiary qualification in any field, or substantial progress toward completion of a tertiary qualification WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Student Services Advisors play a critical role in ensuring students can successfully navigate their academic journey, from admission through enrolment and progression.
